Unit 5

I thought street people were lazy. I would turn my nose up at them until they get jobs. That is, until the day I was looking at some people waiting in line for food at a local shelter. I suddenly realized that one of the men with dirty clothes was my cousin. I hadn't seen him two years. We talked, and I found out he had lost both his job and his wife in a matter of months. He was not lazy, but rather, unluckey. People living on the streets are not there by choice, so please help them if you can. Drop off packaged food, or clothing you don't need, at any shelter of homeless. Together, we can make life a little bit better for people who've had it so tough.

It was lucky that the concert finished at an erarly time.
I don't think she has ever stayed such a dirty place while on vacation.
They turn to look at the sky, and before long the supply planes peered overhead.
The dog tried to take a flower out of the pot, but I've put them back in place.
