An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nationsを読み始めました。経済学の最も有名な古典です。以前、moral sentimentの方で挫折したのですが、こちらは、布団の中で音声を聞いていたら行けそうな気がしたのでチャレンジしてみることに。200年以上前の本ですが、非常にシンプルな英語で書かれているような気がします。audibleでは36時間あり、38万5千語程度かと見込まれます。
今日はCh.2、9ページまで。有名なピン工場の話や利己心の話が序盤で既に現れました。
