In fact, the young woman wasn't interested in promotion. She had other plans. All the time she had been working in the company, she had been secretaly going to a nearby dressmaking school in the evenings. She hoped to have her own business in the future.
One year later, she quit her job and opened her own dress shop with the money she had saved while working in the company.
